Making good use of AILawyer's practical tools
Calculators and guides can support case preparation when assumptions are clear and results are read in context.

Check the inputs first
A calculated figure looks precise. It still depends on the information entered: the starting amount, period, rate or selected circumstances. Gather the available information and record uncertainties before running a simulation.
If a date is disputed, try more than one scenario and retain the assumptions for each. This shows how the disagreement affects the result instead of hiding uncertainty behind a single figure.
Read the documents as well
A calculator performs an operation. It does not establish by itself whether a rate applies, a clause takes effect or an amount can be claimed. Those questions require examination of the matter.
Guides can help identify terms and points to check. The calculation then becomes a preparation step that can be explained to a lawyer, colleague or other party.
Continue in your language
The interfaces are available in French, Dutch and English. Switching language should allow the same task to continue with understandable labels. It does not change the law applicable to the situation.
When sharing a result, include the inputs and consultation date. The recipient can then understand the assumptions and repeat the calculation if necessary.
Treat the simulation as a starting point
An estimate is useful for preparing a discussion or comparing scenarios. Before including it in a formal claim, check the rules and documents supporting its parameters. That step gives the figure its meaning.
General information. Application to a matter depends on its facts and the rules in force.
